The D Family

I realize it has been a while since I have blogged…been busy with a myriad of things.  Yet, I have this refreshed desire to make time to blog even though the days continue to be full and fast paced.  So, here is a family from this past Fall:

It was a brisk November day that the D family and I got together.  In fact, it was so brisk and WINDY that we had to go to plan “B” and find a place that buffered us from the wind – I am so thankful this location came to mind.  It blocked the wind and still gave the Fall feel they desired!  Let me tell you, each one of these family members were troopers and smiled away as the camera was clicking.  I give them huge props for that because I don’t think you can tell from their pictures that they were freezing!  We snapped all of these picture in about 30 minutes and immediately went to my house where we warmed up with some hot chocolate!  Loved that extra visit time with them!  🙂

By the way, don’t you just love how C pulled their colors together?  All of their outfits look awesome!

We took some quick headshots of the girls before they needed to wrap up in some quilts to warm up a bit!  I really like how the wrapped up pictures turned out too.  🙂

It was fun that their dad hopped in for a quick picture or two with his daughters before we took some of their little guy all on his own.  Isn’t he a cutie?!?

After these pictures we were all dashing to the vehicles and wanting to warm up!  Nothing sounded better than a warm house and hot chocolate.  It was fun to wrap up our time together visiting over steaming hot mug of chocolate liquid in a warm environment!

Thanks, D Family, for hanging in there and for asking me to take pictures for you all!

The A Family

It was a privilege to work with the A family again AND have additional family members included this time!  🙂  We met at their family farm and worked our way around the area taking a multitude of pictures along the way – there are so many cool spots to take pictures around their place!  Within this blog post I am mainly including the pictures of everyone and individual family units.  To see additional pictures of the couples and kiddos from this session, you can keep scrolling down to the posts following this one.  🙂  And here they are, the A Family!

While we were by the hay bales, we snagged a few shots of the kids with their great grandpa!  I think they like him a little bit.  🙂

Here are some of the individual family units represented:

It is always a treasure to have pictures with our parents…

Wrapping up the large group family pics…

Thanks, A Family, for entrusting me with your family’s memories!

Fall Mini: The T Family

My path routinely crosses with the T Family but it is rare that we get to spend extended time together.  Therefore, I was super happy when they decided to participate in a Fall Mini session!  Plus, it worked out for them to stick around for a while to visit and hang out!  Loved having them in front of the camera as well as the time of catching up we had afterwards!  Here is a glance at the memories locked in during our time together!  🙂

Fall Mini: The R Family

After getting to work with A and her Mom it was great to meet the rest of their family the day of the Fall Minis!  I thoroughly enjoyed putting faces with the names I had heard about during A’s Senior session.  🙂  Our time together seemed to fly by as we navigated to different locations in one general area.  Loved their colors, their fun personalities and the banter that went on between each of them as we caught these pictures.  🙂

Fall Mini: The K Family

I love this family!  We know each other through church and I was so pleased that they wanted to participate in the Fall Mini Sessions being offered!  I looked forward to taking pictures for them all the more when I learned it had been quite some time since they have had any family pictures taken!  That was hard for me to believe since they are such a photogenic group, but it was true!

As can happen when Fall is moving in, there was a very crisp nip in the air the day of the Fall Minis!  The K Family happened to be first on the schedule!  Brrrr….they did so well despite the chill!  We stayed in one general area and rotated spots to capture these image!  Lovely colors, great attitudes, amazing smiles, and fun times…doesn’t get much better than that!  🙂

So glad I got to be the one to remedy the issue of missing family photos.  🙂  Thankful for each one of you, K Family!!!!
