The L Family Maternity Session

I heard from E several months before she was due and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.  It made me super excited about meeting she and her husband and capturing some memories for them as they continued to wait for their little girl to arrive.  The day of their session came, and we had a great time going from location to location, catching sweet memories along the way despite the strong breeze!

Doesn’t E look amazing for just being a few weeks out from delivering?  Simply beautiful, inside and out!  I loved all the props they brought to add into their pictures as well as how game T was during our time together!  You two were awesome!

There is nothing like the awe that comes with parenthood and the excitement of meeting the new life forming within!

These expressions…shows their varied excitement about all the shopping one can do for a girl!  🙂  Ha!

Thank you, E and T, for asking me to document such a special time in your lives!

PS – Their daughter entered this world safely and I had the honor of taking her newborn photos.  I hope to blog about Miss B’s newborn session later this week.  🙂

Dashing E – 2 years old

When I say “dashing” not only is this little Mister handsome, he is also very fast!  Although I am not posting them, I have pictures of his Mom and Aunt chasing him down as he was running the opposite direction.  🙂  What a fun memory from this 2 year old stage of life – on the go, checking everything out, and endless energy (or so it seems)!

I sure enjoyed getting to work with E and his family!  We met and took the following pictures on the grounds of the Republic County Museum in Belleville, KS.  The way we were able to roam from one spot to another, capturing E in motion and enjoying life as only he can, was absolutely perfect for his session.  🙂

E’s session took place right before Mother’s Day so it seemed fitting to add something in honor of the holiday!

And most parents of young children can relate to the following pictures:

Yes, E loves trains, can’t you tell?  🙂

I think he is destined to be a Huskers fan:

S and E, thanks for asking me to capture these memories for you.  It was so much fun to follow E around, catching him in action!  What a fun kiddo!
