Cowboy C – 6 months old!

It is super sweet to take pictures of kiddos as they grow!  Since I do not see Cowboy C on a regular basis, going from newborn photos to 6 month photos made me think, “Where has the time gone!?!”  Yet, here he is in all his 6 month old cuteness!

As his Mom and I planned his session, we landed on taking pictures in their home.  The goal was to use the light from the large windows in their living room for some pictures (so glad they did not mind moving furniture around!) and then to capture some pictures of C’s in his nursery – love the rustic, cowboy theme!!!

We wrapped up this session outdoors – I couldn’t resist taking another picture of him with a saddle!

T Family, thanks for asking me to lock in how cute your son is at this stage of life!  Enjoy each moment!

I loved that C’s sister hopped in front of the camera too – complete with her own props.  🙂

This little guy talked to us and watched our antics while we were outside…he deserved some attention too!

Little Miss A

Isn’t this little one simply adorable?!?  Her dark eyes and sweet expressions just take me in each time I see her pictures!  (made me glad she was awake for so much of our session!)  A is undoubtedly surrounded by many who love her and are enjoying each new phase as she grows and matures!  I love how her family brought several special things to her session: blankets and quilts made by family and friends, a scarf sent from a grandparent, outfits that held meaning to them and a cool chalk board decorated by Mom!  Super sweet stuff to add to the pictures of a super sweet girl!!

Mom, Dad and Big Sis, it was awesome to spend time with each one of you…enjoy each moment, it goes by way too fast!!!!

Beautiful B – Senior 2013

Last week I watched B walk across the stage to receive her high school diploma – it gave me flashbacks to the time she spent in front of my camera…  🙂

The main thing I remember from B’s session was HOW COLD it was and how she PERSEVERED without complaining!  Seriously, can you tell she was freezing in these pictures?  She was such a trooper and I give her huge props for wanting to go ahead with our plans, not waiting until another day.

In addition to enjoying my time with B, I got to meet and know her two sisters as they joined us for this session!  They stepped up and helped me from time to time (thanks, ladies) and added some more laughter during our time together.  🙂  We took some downtown pictures and ended up in a field with a horse.  I have a soft spot for the pictures of B in her formal with the horse…

B, thanks for asking me to take pictures for you…I wish you all the best as you move toward the next thing in life!
