I heard from E several months before she was due and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.  It made me super excited about meeting she and her husband and capturing some memories for them as they continued to wait for their little girl to arrive.  The day of their session came, and we had a great time going from location to location, catching sweet memories along the way despite the strong breeze!

Doesn’t E look amazing for just being a few weeks out from delivering?  Simply beautiful, inside and out!  I loved all the props they brought to add into their pictures as well as how game T was during our time together!  You two were awesome!

There is nothing like the awe that comes with parenthood and the excitement of meeting the new life forming within!

These expressions…shows their varied excitement about all the shopping one can do for a girl!  🙂  Ha!

PS – Their daughter entered this world safely and I had the honor of taking her newborn photos.  I hope to blog about Miss B’s newborn session later this week.  🙂

My excitement grew very quickly as L and I talked through the details of her maternity session.  She had some wonderful ideas but was letting me choose their locations based upon the style she desired in her photos.  The anticipation and excitement over their first baby was tangible and when we met face to face their love for each other was obvious.  It made me smile inside and out to watch them walk from spot to spot holding hands.  🙂  Super sweet.  Their little one was already surrounded by love and he didn’t even realize it yet!  Yes, they were having a boy!!!!  They shared of how he was such an answer to prayer and were looking forward to meeting him.  🙂  Since this session, he has arrived and they daily get to hold him and enjoy him!

It has been so fun to take pictures of this sweet couple through the years…I consider it a privilege to have documented some pretty big milestones for them.  This event is pretty big too – expecting their first baby!  It was my honor to capture the anticipation, the joy, the preparation, the awe and the love experienced as they waited for their little one to arrive!

We had some great locations picked out and this couple was game to try all the ideas I suggested – love that!  🙂  Enjoy checking out some of the highlights from their session!

Our first location seems to be a trend of sorts…we have taken pictures here each time they have been in front of my camera!  Since there is a rotation of items in this store it is easy to create a different look with each session!  The building has special meaning to E as it has been in her family for a long time and I just love the light, gladly agreeing to shoot there anytime it works out.  🙂

E works daily with small children so it seemed only natural that we should incorporate her work environment into some of her pictures…she would be adding a new member to the scene in just a few weeks!

We also stopped by their house for a quick change of clothes and some took a few quick shots there as well.  I thought it was the sweetest thing when E told me she had been keeping a journal for Baby H throughout her pregnancy – what a treasure that will be for him one day!

We also made a few scenic stops before running low on light.

What a lovely couple!  Their little guy is very blessed to have them as parents!
